I LOVE playing these tangles! Its become a part of my day now, and it helps me reflect a lot of the kind of person I am, also my friends play it and its great to see what they do and reinforces my friendship with them too. Its such a fun way to feel connected to both myself but also my people.
I’ve been fascinated by Trove since I first tried it. I’ve been talking to anyone who would listen about it. It’s so neat to be put in positions that I don’t expect and to see how I react. The design and experience of each story make me feel engaged, and like I’m really talking to these people. I’m learning about myself and seeing how I handle all of these scenarios. All of that and it’s fun! I don’t feel like it’s a task that needs completing as much as an experiment that I want to see through!
It is the only check in app that does not feel like homework. It feels like play, and somehow I learn more about myself than any quiz ever told me.
Comparing results with my roommate turned into a whole hour of "wait, you would really do that?" It is the most fun I have had understanding someone.
I am not big on self help stuff, but this snuck up on me. The little reflections after each round actually stuck with me all day.

Ex-pilot license holder. Pivoted into Live2D animation, then landed at Trove breaking tangles before you do, editing, filing bugs. Re-tests a tangle at the slightest hint of something wrong going on, and doesn't stop until it's sorted. Has a mental folder of OC lore that's been WIP indefinitely.
